The Friends of Sefton Park group sets out to work for the park and nature that lives and thrives there.

Volunteering Activities

Through the seasons, there will always be plenty to do in the park.

Activities are for everyone of any age who is able to kindly give their time to help ensure the park's outstanding beauty.

Some examples of what we will be doing are:
  • Litterpicking 
  • Cleaning and painting furniture, bollards and signs
  • Planting seasonal bulbs and plants
  • Making homes for nature
  • ID-ing trees, birds, bees and other wildlife to contribute to local nature records
  • Being the eyes and ears to keep the park safe for people and nature
Our volunteer days are on the following Sundays, 11am-12.30pm, meet at cafe by Eros, all kit provided, all welcome:
2023: 29/01, 26/02, 26/03, 30/04, 28/05, 18/06, 23/07, 20/08, 10/09, 29/10, 26/11, 17/12
